UB Classes/Move in Day Moved to Early Next Week
Just hours after the UB Class of 2015 and Transfer students arrived on campus to begin orientation, there were rumors going around Facebook and Twitter that move in day for returning students and classes would be pushed back a few days due to Hurricane Irene.
Dean Holmes confirmed that there would be several changes made to the schedule for Sunday and Monday. Via Twitter, Holmes @HolmesKenneth said the following "In light of Hurricane Irene classes at UB will not start until Wednesday, August 31st. In another tweet, he said "Because of the impending storm check in for returning students has been postponed to Tuesday, August 30th.
More information should be available over the next few days about this matter as no specific time table for check-in was given to the scribe. Make sure to stay with us on this important situation.
