The Best Movie yet of the Twilight Saga: "Breaking Dawn Part 1"
Stepping into the movie theater and buying a ticket to see "Breaking Dawn- Part 1," fills the air with excitement for "Twilight" fans. Fans had no idea what was in store for them, but they couldn't wait to see how the story unraveled leading up to Bella's marriage to Edward Cullen. Edward would never hurt Bella, something many vampires would find hard to do with the smell of her blood in the air. Edward has self control when it comes to Bella, but many things throughout the "Twilight" saga have posed threats to Bella's life.
In "Breaking Dawn- Part 1" nothing is different when it comes down to the basic theme of saving Bella's life. However, the danger that faces Bella is unconsciously done due to some- what of a miracle. The Cullen family has never heard of a baby being developed between vampire and human and when such a thing happened to Bella and Edward, no one had the slightest clue what to do.
"I thought it was overly dramatic with not enough action. It was great for a supernatural Lifetime movie," sophomore Michelle Calero said.
The audience is in for a surprise at how funny the movie overall is. There are laughs at random times during the honeymoon scenes and the wedding. During the honeymoon, the scenario of tiring Bella out so that Edward can retain from sex is hilarious. Edward's nature of being a vampire is that he is physically much stronger than Bella, so it is very dangerous for them to have sex. In the scenes of the wedding, Bella's friends, family and the Cullen's all give speeches for the newlywed couple that one can't help laughing at because some of the content being said had nothing to do with Bella and Edward. In the book, the honeymoon events were meant to be funny and it is amazing how well it was pulled off in the movie.
The most shocking part of the movie is Bella's corpse-like body during her pregnancy. The makeup was done stunningly well and the acting during these scenes was perfect. Kristen Stewart who plays the role of Bella had in her grasp the right haggard expressions and weight of depression down pat, to the point where the audience was sucked in by her performance. "This is her best acting I have seen yet," sophomore Karen Licona said.
"Breaking Dawn- Part 2" is scheduled to be released Nov. 16, 2012. This means the last movie won't be seen until a year from now. "This is strange considering "Eclipse" was released in the summer of 2011" said Licona. Because of this fans thought the final movie would be ready by the following summer of 2012.
