UB/Sodexo announce major upgrade for Marina Dining Hall
When the fall 2011 semester begins, there will be a lot of buzz in the air with the recent announcement that the university and Sodexo dining services will be conducting a 2.7 million dollar renovation project over the next two years in order to enhance the dining experience for the student body.
The idea of this comes from UB President Neil Albert Salonen, who over the past few years had a vision for a development like this to occur and has worked closely with Sodexo since January and was proficient in negotiating a plan with them and was successful.
Vice President of Facilities George Estrada, who is leading the scheme, senses this will be a win-win situation for the entire university population.
