ASID, IIDA Career Night

The Interior Design Department of the University of Bridgeport along with the American Society of Interior Designers and the International Interior Design Association coordinated a Student Career Night on campus. Students from UB as well as from Paier College of Art and the University of New Haven attended the event, held at the UB Art Gallery on March 18. President Neil Salonen welcomed over a hundred students, design professionals and industry partners who attended this event. Guest speakers included Jeffrey Kenney, executive director of the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications, and Martin Pedersen, executive editor of Metropolis Design Magazine. Several architects and designers displayed their projects and reviewed the student’s portfolios.
