The UB women’s soccer team had four players named to the NYCAC All-Conference Teams for the 2004 season. Included in that group was midfielder Annika Robertsson, who was a First Team selection and also named the NYCAC’s Rookie of the Year.In addition to Robertsson, UB had three players who made the Second Team. Forwards Lilja Valthorsdottir and Rut Bjarnadottir, as well as sophomore goalkeeper Allison Verobel, were all named to the team. Valthorsdottir and Bjarnadottir are tied for the team lead in goals with 13 each, including nine game-winning goals between the two of them.
Verobel has a 0.89 goals against average to go along with nine shutouts for the season.
