Gordon James is a Star

Gordon James will be playing in two all-star games; one at Harvard on February 20th and the NYCAC Senior all-star Game at C.W. Post on April 24th. Gordon received 1st team all NYCAC, 2nd Team All ECAC, Northeast Region All American, and is the only player in the NYCAC to average a double-double. He averaged 14.3 points and 10.9 rebounds a game. When asked about his overall performance this year, senior Gordon James stated:
“I wanted to do better than last year and I felt I didn’t do that. I played on a team where everyone wanted to be a star. However, only the true stars shined when darkness fell. All I cared about was success for the team, but I didn’t feel everyone was on the same page. We had too much talent not to have good chemistry. We focused so much on offense that we forgot that it was team defense that counted the most to go all the way. But obviously, you can’t stop a true star from shining.”
