Last Saturday we hung out in New Haven. While we were there we visited the Yale University Campus. We shopped at stores like Urban Outfitters, J. Crew and Chinese Laundry. There was even a little street with flee-markets that sold exquisite, ethnic jewelry. With movie theaters and ice-cream shops at every corner, New Haven is a perfect place to spend a weekend afternoon. Just grab a few friends and spend a day wandering about, window shopping, stuffing yourself with treats and most importantly getting away from campus!
Now let’s talk about the best part. The Nightlife! Are you the one who can’t go along with your friends to a club just because you are not ‘of age’? If so, let me tell you about Gotham Citi. If you are 18 years or older you can party hardy. Gotham has three floors, three DJ’s, six rooms, three bars, and eight bartenders, all in one club! There are all sorts of drink specials and party themes, depending on the day of the week. The cover price is generally $10 for those individuals under 21 years old, and $6 for those 21 and up(often there are promotional parties that have specials, lower prices, prizes, contests, etc.).
