The UB women’s volleyball team had its six-match winning streak snapped on Thursday evening in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Dowling. The Purple Knights, who fell to 5-1 in the NYCAC, received a terrific all-around effort from sophomore middle hitter Amy Neussl, who posted a team-high eight kills and was tremendous on blocking with one solo and six block assists. The team is back in action on Saturday in a match at UMass-Lowell beginning at 1 p.m.9/28
