Political Fashion

Now whom are you going to vote for in this up-coming Presidential Election? Yes, it is important to know where your candidate stands on important issues like homeland security, education, and civil rights. But will you make your decision based on just the way the candidates look? If you will I suggest you do some more research on the candidate, they do have a lot going for them besides wearing te designer suits. I must say though that this election has had a bit of influence on fashion. Almost everywhere you turn you see someone with the vote or die T-shirt. When it comes to our candidates they both share the same views on fashion. Bush and Kerry’s looks are both conservative and safe. If you’ve been watching the current debates you can see that you really can’t tell much of a difference in their style. They both wore navy blue or black suits, with a white shirt, and a red or blue tie. They seem to always try to incorporate the patriotic colors of red, white and blue.

On November 2, 2004, please do not make your decision based on the attire of the two candidates. If you do go and vote, wait let me restate that. When you go out and vote, remember to choose the candidate that you feel can really make a change. It may be fun to wear something patriotic when you go and vote. You can wear a flag or something red, white, and blue.
