Men’s Soccer Ranked 17th in This Week’s NSCAA Division II National Poll
The UB men’s soccer team, winners of five straight games, are ranked 17th in the latest NSCAA Division II National Poll. In addition, the Purple Knights are second in the Northeast Region poll. The team is currently led by two-time NYCAC Player of the Week Cheikh Diop (pictured left). Diop has a team-high 20 points on nine goals and a pair of assists.10/2
No. 17 Men’s Soccer Falls at Shippensburg, 4-1
The 17th-ranked UB men’s soccer team had its five-game winning streak snapped as the Purple Knights fell to Shippensburg by 4-1 final on Saturday afternoon. UB is now 5-3-0 overall on the season and is back in action on Wednesday, October 6th when the team hosts C.W. Post in a NYCAC game. Game time is set for 3 p.m. at Seaside Park.
