LIBRARY POSTER CONTEST

Help celebrate National Library Week, April 10-16th, by entering Wahlstrom Library’s Poster Contest! In addition to expressing your opinion about “the ideal library,” you may win a prize! The First Place winning poster will be awarded $75 and the Second Place winning poster $50.Here’s what to do:

1. Create a poster depicting what you envision “the ideal library” to be
2. The size should be at least 8 ” by 11″ but not bigger than 11″ by 17″
3. You may use paper, canvas, posterboard, etc.
4. One or more persons may collaborate on a single poster and share the prize if their entry is selected as a winner
5. Posters may consist of painting, drawing, collages, photographs, or any combination of materials. Content may not contain anything obscene.
6. All submissions become the property of the Library; none will be returned to the artists(s).
7. Entries must be submitted to the Library Administration Office, room 201 Wahlstrom Library, by April 6th at 4:30 p.m.
8. A panel of judges will select a first and second place winning entry. The decision of the judges is final.
9. The winning entries will be displayed in the Library during National Library Week, April 10th- 16th.
