The University of Bridgeport today awarded doctor of chiropractic degrees to 17 graduates of its College of Chiropractic.
Graduation ceremonies, presided over by President Neil Albert Salonen and Dean Frank Zolli of the chiropractic college, were held in the Arnold Bernhard Center for Arts and Humanities.
Dr. Robert Matrisciano, a leading chiropractor in the Tri-State Region and a founder of UB’s College of Chiropractor, was chosen by the graduates to give
the commencement address. Dr. Matrisciano stressed the importance of “honesty and integrity” in the profession as well as role “continuing education” should play in the professional life of the graduates.
Mary Theresa Freeley delivered the valedictory address and Eric Francis Kelly, the class address.
Ms. Freeley and Thomas John McLaughlin were summa cum laude graduates; Ryejin Hong and Matthew C. Gibbs, magna cum laude, and Scott Charles Hayden
and Angela Mustac, cum laude.
Others receiving degrees were: Daren Zackery Bethea II, Tracy Brent Calafiore, Matthew Peter Carrera, Kyle Richard Eopechino, Richard Eric Morel, Frank C. Musante, Arma S. Oestorly, Jason James Peloquin, Amy L. Person and Daniel Patrick Sullivan.
