UB Gymnastics Finish Regular Season

Bridgeport, Conn., The women’s gymnastics team finished their home schedule today when they hosted Southern Connecticut.
The visiting owls won the meet with a score of 182.225. The Purple Knights scored over 180 for the second consecutive meet this season finishing with a score of 180.550. It was the third time this season that the Purple Knights scored over 180.
Freshman Katherine Reitz (Phoenix, AZ.) finished first on two apparatus the vault with a score of 9.400 and the floor exercise with a score of 9.525. She finished third in the all around with a combined total score of 36.500. Shannon Cain (Hamilton, VA.) finished fifth in the all-around with a score of 35.225.
Victoria Aarts (Lawrenceville, GA.) finished second on the floor with a score of 9.457. Brandi Embry (Olympia, WA.) scored 9.300 to finish first on the uneven bars.
