Well hello movie goers. This weekend I ventured into the movies and saw the movie Ultraviolet. If you want to see a movie with a great story line and plot, intellectual conversations and witty one-liners, this movie is not for you. If you want to see a movie with a woman kicking ass with great special effects that makes you feel like you are caught up in a comic book: this movie is definitely for you.
Good points: well the first and most obvious, Milla Jovavich kicks some serious butt in this movie and not just with a really big gun, but with a really big sword which just makes the movie so much better because anyone can kill tons of people with a gun, but it takes great skill to do it with a sword. Moving on to the special effects, one word: awesome. I felt like I was in the pages of the comic book. I give the special effects an A.
Now on to the script, it was definitely lacking. It seemed as if they put all their money and resources into the special effects and chorography. The script and plot get a C-.
All and All the movie gets a B.
