Do not be surprised if you hear someone boast from the crowd” “That is my mom,” “dad”, “wife” or “husband”. They are probably supporting one of the record breaking 160 or more students graduating from the accelerated degree program, known as Ideal. Ideal is also known for giving nontraditional students a second chance.
The Ideal program gives an opportunity to students who in the past would not have been able to earn a degree. Many of the graduates express their gratitude for being given an opportunity that under normal circumstance would not be available.

“Turn the key… Open the door to your undergraduate degree.” This is the heading on the Ideal program website. Many have turn that key, however some have chosen to open other doors with that key.

It is expected for the graduates and their families to be happy and excited about graduating. However when a University administrator or faculty member extends an emotional congratulations, It truly should be recognized.
