Do me a favor? Think about a nice breezy day and with the sun shining. Now think about sitting in Marina with a nice breeze coming through the windows while you are eating.
There is only one problem with that. The windows in Marina either don’t open, cracked-which later are boarded up, or open but don’t stay open.Recently students have been asking questions to the managers of Marina about openings the windows.Anthony Panzella Cafeteria Supervisor at Marina Dining Hall said, “I spoke to the President and he told me to email Tom Oates and to tell him about the windows.”Only time will tell when the windows will get fixed. Hopefully it is soon so the temperature will go from hot to cool.
Tom Sweeney the Director of Facilities UNICCO at the University said, “We are working on the window repairs at Marina Dinning Hall. We will be repairing the cracked window as soon as the glass company delivers the glass. We have a company coming out next week to give us a price for all new windows and frames. I have already talked to vice president on this matter. We had a lot of work this summer on dorm repairs and other projects. That had to take place first.
