VIBE: They are Doing Big Things

Are you a new student to UB? And are you unsure of what student club to join? Well your in luck, I have a great suggestion…Why don’t you join VIBE! It’s a great club on campus, and the unique name stands for “VISIONS OF INTELLIGENCE BETWEEN ETHNICITES.VIBE’s mission is geared towards promoting cultural awareness, personally and socially, through various activities and events. VIBE’s goal is to enhance andunify the lives of Black and Latino students, as well as students from other diverse origins in order to encourage and share multiculturalism and love within its members and the rest of the University of Bridgeport community.Now, you’re probably wondering what can you and your fellow students expect to see from VIBE this semester. Firstly, the VIBE Calendar will be released right before Christmas break and students should expect to see their fellow students posing for different months as well as reminders about school events from all the organizations on campus. – Other events to look out for:VIBE will be having its first Lyricist Corner in the Twisted Cafe on September 20th and every other Tuesday of each month.Also get ready for the first party of the semester! “FALL OUT” party will be held on September 30th in the social RM @ the Student Center. So don’t miss it, it’s going to be HOT!!!VIBE is also doing a FASHION SHOW on Nov. 16th.
