International Festival 2005

Celebrate the food, music and culture of over 20 nations at the 29th annual International Festival, this Saturday, April 16, 2005.
Food and cultural displays will be featured in the Wheeler Recreation Center from 4-6pm. Foods from India, China, Uganda, Turkmenistan, Nepal, Sudan, Japan, Bangladesh, France, South Korea, The Netherlands, Pakistan and the US will be served.
Cultural performances will begin at 6:30 in the Mertens Theatre, ABC Building and will feature entertainment by India, Japan, Nepal, Sudan, The Netherlands, Thailand, USA, hip-hop dance group Soul Beat, and a performance by a rock band comprised of UB students.
Advance tickets prices are: $10 students/seniors, $15 adults and $45 family (2 adults and up to 4 children up to age 18). Prices include all food, beverages and entertainment. Tickets (if available) are $2 additional the day of the event.
Call the Office of Student Programming, x4487, email studentprogramming@bridgeport.edu, or stop by room 116 Student Center to purchase tickets. Tickets will also be sold at lunch in Marina Dining Hall and at dinner in Knight’s End Cafe every day this week.
