Women’s Basketball Rolls to 5-0 With Win Over Mercy
The UB women’s basketball team is off to its best start in six years as the Purple Knights improved to 5-0 with a 68-57 win over Mercy on Wednesday night. The Purple Knights are under the direction of first-year Head Coach Mark McCaleb. UB was led by junior transfer Megan Jones, who posted a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes of play. She was joined in double figures by Deseraya Williams and Frances Santos with 10 points each.
