Women’s Volleyball Falls to NYIT, 3-0
The UB women’s volleyball team, ranked fifth in the season’s first NCAA Northeast Regional Poll, fell to the top-ranked NYIT Lady Bears by a 3-0 final on Thursday evening at the Hubbell Gym. Game scores were 30-22, 30-23 and 30-19. Senior outside hitter Jessica Herrman led the Purple Knights with 11 kills in 22 attempts. UB is now 11-4 overall and 6-2 in the NYCAC. NYIT is now 17-5 overall and 4-1 in the NYCAC.
