[What is your source of motivation?] I am just trying to learn more about people and life in general. Every new challenge in my life motivates me to become better at whatever I do.

[Do you have a favorite quote you would like to share with us?] Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealt represents determinism; the way you play it is free will (Jawaharlal Nehru).

[Who would you say is your role model and why?] Bill Parcells (an NFL coach) for his passion towards profession and dedication to excellence.

[As the newly elected president of Student Government Association (SGA), how did you become involved in SGA and why?] I was involved in the SGA during my freshman year. This year I decided to re-join so that I could contribute to the improvement of our university

community.

[Tell us a little about the SGA, and what can students look forward to from SGA this year?] The SGA coordinates, supports, and encourages student participation in the decision-making process of the university. It also facilitates communication between students. This year, the SGA members plan to increase student involvement in the university affairs as well as organizing activities to stimulate interest from the city community towards the university.

[What other activities, organizations, or clubs have you been involved with since you have been at UB?] Business School Club

[Being in a student leadership role, what advice would you give to aspiring student leaders?] In my opinion, one of the most effective ways is leadership by example, both in and out of the classroom.

[Any tips on being a good leader?] Try to make best of your opportunities today. They don’t come on a daily basis.

[If you had to choose one event/person at UB, that has had a great impact on your life, what/who would it be and why?] I would have to go with the UB International Festival. After each festival, I get the feeling that I am a part of something bigger than just a regular

four-year institution. The whole world becomes smaller as UB students represent their home countries on that day. It is a unique event.

[How would you describe your time at UB?] Very special: education, new friends, marriage, and more appreciation for other cultures.
