The men’s baseball team has been able to make UB history. This season the UB knights were able to upset New Haven, breaking their 51 game winning streak. However, the UB baseball team has struggled. Team captain Steve Appel talks about his team “As dangerous as we can be, every team has their bumps in the road. Unfortunately, we have hit some hard bumps, which set us back from our original expectations. Now that we are over those bumps, if we play to our ability and don’t play to the level of others, we will be very tough to beat in the playoffs. Our present goal is to go to the playoffs and win, and prove to everyone that we are a great team.”
