There is talk about the cost of tuition going up again. Are you serious, why does the school need more money from students? If you are going to up the tuition again at least fix the dorms. It is hard to believe that we pay twenty-four thousand dollars a year to live in a 10×12 concrete room. It’s like we live in a jail cell. Seriously now, I think inmates have it better because they have a sink and a toilet in their cell. If you live in the dorms you know how nasty they are. I understand that tuition is paying for our education but we are not stupid. We know that some of that money goes to fix the dorms. If the University says they are going to fix the dorms then fix them. Some students have things wrong with their rooms that have been that way for three years. Doesn’t it make you wonder where all that money goes? If it goes to the dorms, we sure don’t see it. If there were evidence that things were being done around the University then I am sure that people wouldn’t have a problem paying more money. Also, if you are a student who lives in the dorms then you should be allowed to stay in other dorms more than two nights a week. We pay for that too, so what’s the problem? If you didn’t live in the dorms, I could understand. However, some of us do live in the dorms and would like to stay in the other dorms with people more than two nights.
Finally, taking food out of Marina should be okay, but it’s not. Why? We pay for that too. All you people who do take food out and then get sick and blame it on Marina, grow up. You have a refrigerator, use it. So what if you get a little sick, so you have diarrhea for a while, it’ll pass. For the most part we would just like to know where all the money is going.
