I earned my degree in biology and psychology from CUNY Hunter College and current work as a cancer scientist. In this role I use a combination of biology, math, and computer science to hunt down changes in DNA that might affect how certain people respond to treatments. In pursuit of my undergraduate degree I worked as both a tutor and a teaching assistant in math, biology, and computer programming. I am currently a scout troop leader where I teach 11-16 year old students a variety of skills, including in the STEM subjects.
