I believe that confidence is key to mastering a language, and I bring to my tutoring the goal of building up a student's confidence. As a tutor, I strive to make a connection between the language coursework and life outside the classroom. The connection between my French coursework and the broader context within the Francophone world helped me to become more engaged with the language. This led to my studying abroad twice during college, and to experiences that dramatically improved my language skills.
