One thing I have learned from being a tutor is that every student has a unique learning style. As a tutor, I know how important it is for me to be a good listener. It is our responsibility as educators to adapt our lesson plans to the individual interests and needs of our students. I have found that I am most adept at my ability to keep my mind open, listen patiently, and communicate clearly. I earned my bachelor's degree in history with honors. I owe a good portion of my academic success to my tutors, teachers, mentors, and advisers, and now I want to be that great influence on my students....
