Students struggle in different ways in writing, and they learn differently as well. As an educator, I believe in having a uniform approach to instruction, but due to the various issues pupils face, that approach should have wiggle room. I learned early on that sticking to only one method of teaching hinders student's abilities to learn. I feel that tutoring and teaching go further than imparting the knowledge of the subject at hand to pupils. For instance, English also encompasses cultural studies, sociology, and communication. Studying the subject will not just help their writing, but give them skills to use in other parts of their lives, both personally and academically.  ...
