My experience volunteering at NYC After School Program with at-risk students gave me the inspiration to enroll in Teachers College and become a substitute teacher. I earned a master's degree in elementary inclusive education with a gifted extension from Teachers College. My tutoring methods include incorporating pupils' personal interests and lives into the content we are learning. This method has resonated deeply with students and parents alike.
