I earned a bachelor's degree in history at the University of Virginia. As a college student, I tutored primary school students in reading and math. I was also employed by the university to help students write and edit history and political science papers. I continued on to complete a two-year post-baccalaureate program as a pre-med science student. I tutored students in biology, physics, and writing during this time as well. It was during this program that I began to tutor in SAT prep. My favorite part of teaching is making the difficult information more understandable and interesting to my pupils. I believe that any subject is understandable if it is presented in a relatable manner....
