I can tutor in numerous subjects, but my favorites are history, math, and English. In standardized test prep, I believe that students need to have a deep understanding of the material, not just memorize it. I studied natural science at Fordham University and earned my bachelor's degree with a minor in visual arts and philosophy. Most recently, I have been a volunteer in the Reach Out and Read program. Through this program, I help children develop and use their critical thinking skills. When I am not tutoring and teaching, I enjoy landscaping, jogging along the waterfront, playing a pickup soccer game or two, and practicing taekwondo. I am looking forward to meeting new pupils and helping them reach their goals....
