Sydney is a Ph.D. student in Social Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at Columbia. Her research focuses on the brain mechanisms that support the top down control of emotion and the relationship that emotion regulation has will well-being over the lifespan. She received her BA from Princeton University in 2014 and worked for 2 years in a research lab at Stanford University.
