I am currently a third year PhD student in English and Disability Studies at The Ohio State University, but I have returned to my native New York City to write my dissertation. Though I am currently focusing on more formal academic work, I also have a creative background, and received my MFA in nonfiction writing from Hunter College. At the university level, I have taught Rhetoric and Composition, Introduction to Literature, Introduction to Disability Studies, and Creative Writing.
