When it comes to mathematics, I didn't start out as a star student. While this was early in my life, I did struggle in my middle school years of math. In 8th grade I had an amazing teacher who made it all make sense. From that moment I have excelled in mathematics and have taken that experience and worked to help others excel as well. I started helping others in mathematics later that year and have been doing so ever since.
