My desire to help improve human health and interests in molecular genetics have led me to pursue my Ph.D. studies at the Yale School of Public Health. This combination of public health coursework and molecular genetics research, under the guidance of Dr. Josephine Hoh, have prepared me to tackle questions at the nexus of human health and molecular pathophysiology. I hope to develop as a researcher by asking similar questions on future projects.
