I was born and raised in Bologna, Italy, where I completed my Italian literature studies at the University of Bologna. I lived in Rome for 10 years, and started teaching Italian as a second language to the children of immigrants.

After moving to the USA, I began tutoring Italian because of my passion for teaching and in particular for Italian language and culture.

Many people around the world have good reasons for learning the Italian language, and many of them are Italian descendants.
