I was born in the United States but grew up in China from the age of four to ten. I attended public school there, so I can speak, write, and read Chinese fluently. Therefore, it would be easy for me to communicate with my students. After moving back to the States, I actually struggled with grasping the English language, especially the vocabulary, for half a year.
