I am a professional writer and English Teacher certified for grades 7-12 in New York State. I taught high school for nine years and college intermittently over a nine-year period. Currently I tutor college students in the Writing Studio at Suffolk Community College. In addition to teaching, I had a previous career in publishing as a writer, editor, and trade journalist.
