Carrie Underwood Comes Back with "Good Girl"

"Hey, good girl/With your head in the clouds/I bet you I can tell you/what you're thinking about/you'll see a good boy/gonna give you the world/but he's gonna leave you cryin'/with your heart in the dirt" sings Underwood in her new single.

"Good Girl" is her first single off of her still to be named fourth album which will come out in May. So far, the single has received positive reviews and even landed on the number one spot on iTunes country songs chart.

The song deals with Underwood warning her friend about the guy she's with. Throughout the song she tells her friend that she should watch out since the guy isn't good for her and she should dump him.

With a good solid rock melody mix with the typical country flavor, her vocals really add the usual feisty attitude that her fans love. Of course in some parts of the song, she tends to over sing just a little, especially around the chorus section of the song.

Underwood tends to showcase her vocal abilities a lot when it comes to her fast paced songs. In fact she tends to add in extra notes just simply to show how strong her vocals are, which she does in "Good Girl."

The lyrics are good enough to make this song over all good by average. They're straight to the point and help make the song catchy as well.
