Partner Marketing managed by Solomon Community Solar seeks a Community Solar Field Sales Agent to work remotely in Northern New Jersey territory and bring the benefits of community solar to all New Jersey residents. This role is a key member of our sales team and provides growth mobility to grow and manage your own team. As Community Solar Field Sales Agent you will be a part of the core team reporting in on results to our Senior Manager. You'll be supported every step of the way with our internal operations staff and ramp up and ongoing training. Bonus if you have a passion for renewable energyReports to: Senior Sales ManagerWhat You'll DoEducated: Selling is educating when it comes to Community Solar. The benefit is there for residents to enjoy they just don't know about it. It costs nothing to join or to leave the program. This program is supported by the state and the utility. Campaign Sales: Prioritize your sales campaigns and contact residents (renters or homeowners).Visibility: Get the word out across continuously educating the benefits of clean energy, promotions, and motivating supporters.Grassroots enhancements: creatively work with Senior Management to develop and grow campaigns reaching Low-to-moderate income communities.Recruitment: Actively recruit and train like-minded, passionate, enviro-friendly advocates and receive lucrative incentivesSales: Act as our New Jersey Community Solar expert while supporting sales activities while coordinating logistics for both report and in-person outreach of canvassers.Design and execute campaigns to increase intern engagement and achievement.Cultivate and drive a fun, diverse, motivating atmosphere. Who you are- Must live in Northern New Jersey- Veterans, Sales Execs, Students - new and experienced sales reps welcome- Experience a bonus but not required. You bring the drive and we will train you.- Innately competitive and driven - Valid driver's license with vehicle - Ability to be on the road 100% of the timeBonus if you- Have 1+ years' experience running outreach campaigns and / or canvassing operations- You have experience with volunteer coordination and management, including recruiting and training- Have experience managing and mentoring other staff members- Have a deep passion for climate activism, and are knowledgeable about environmentalism broadly, or clean energy specifically- Are comfortable speaking publicly, both as a trainer and motivator of youth, and to potential partners outside of our organization- Are positive and energetic- You can inspire and motivate others- You have excellent organizational skills- You have very strong interpersonal and communication skillsCompensation- Paid Training Plus on-going support from the team- Competitive Base plus attractive sales commissions - Uncapped commissions- Flexible schedule (days/nights/weekends)- Learn and work with the best: Our team includes experts across the energy sector with 25+ years experience- Rewarding culture with growth opportunity
