We currently have two bustling stores in SoHo and the West Village, and we're thrilled to be opening our 3rd location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.Our unique experience is changing luxury fragrance retail, and we're looking for passionate and outgoing retail associates ('scent-tologists') to deliver a best-in-class guest experience through our special scent-creation journey.What You'll DoAs an Olfactory NYC "Scent-tologist," you will be responsible for engaging with customers, blending fragrances (Don't worry We'll train you), sales floor operations and being a brand ambassador at off-site events. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):- Welcoming guests into the space and encouraging them to explore and partake in the experience- Sharing the brand story and product knowledge- Guiding customers through the scent customization and blending process of the OlfactoryNYC fragrances- Supporting day-to-day sales floor operations including processing POS transactions accurately, packaging and wrapping guest orders, helping direct traffic flow, blending custom fragrances and more.- Fulfilling ecommerce orders- Embodying the brand's voice and vision in all communication to foster strong client relationshipsWhat We're Looking For- Passion for customer service and hospitality- Excellent communication skills- Organized and possess a keen attention to detail- Proactive, creative, and self-motivated- Eager to learn new things- Experience with Social Media platforms preferred- Interest/ prior experience in fragrance and/or beauty preferred- Ability to work flexible shifts - including weekends and holidaysCompensation and Perks*After an initial 10-15 day training/apprenticeship period, each Scent-ologist will be eligible to earn customer tips- Base pay: $16-$18 per hour (commensurate with experience) hourly rate will approximate to $25-30/hour (when including tips and bonuses).Additional compensation:- Customer tips (paid out monthly)- Monthly sales incentives- Bonuses for working Off-site Events (optional)
