The successful candidate thrives in a live television studio environment and can tackle all facets of production. They will be part of a quickly growing team that is creating exciting and provocative financial broadcasting content. Financial market knowledge is a plus, but a passion for broadcast and video production is what will drive this position.We are looking for someone who is a great teammate and is unafraid to work hard to help us get to the next level. The candidate will be involved in supporting two dynamic daily live shows and will be on the ground floor in developing hours more of daily content, both live and post-produced. They will work closely in studio with members of our team to create compelling investing content for our subscribers.- Edit & produce video content for the Hedgeye platform and its social media pages including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook & more- Fill in as technical director for live daily broadcasts conducted in our broadcast studios while learning Hedgeye broadcast standards- Camera Operator during live and pre-recorded productions for HedgeyeTV- Set-up for HedgeyeTV productions (cameras, lights, mics, furniture)- Work directly with HedgeyeTV Team to determine content for HedgeyeTV programs and segments- Support content creation for all Hedgeye's digital media offerings including web, mobile, video and audio- Advise on studio technology upgrades and troubleshoot existing studio technology- Maintain HedgeyeTV production scheduleSKILLS REQUIRED- Proficiency with Premiere Pro- Knowledge of television production techniques including use of professional-level ENG cameras and Tricaster broadcast system or similar- Ability to work under pressure in a control room environment and meet strict deadlines- Demonstrated knowledge of or interest in financial markets and global economies- Skills in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop a plus- Knowledge of social media platforms and content management systems- Results driven with strong written and oral communication skillsEDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's degree in Film/Television preferred, Finance or Economics knowledge a plus- Experience in television control room/tv production/video editing- Experience at a financial media company, preferably online or video production a plus
