Barrett Bookstore is looking to hire a bookseller with a special focus onchildren's literature. Candidates must be able to work full-day Saturdays 10:00 am-5:00pm. Additional shifts during the week may also be available.The ideal candidate for this position will combine excellent customer service skills with a knowledge and love of children's literature, who can communicate that enthusiasm to our customers. They should be a proactive worker and able to work as a positive team player. Processing sales at the register, shelving books, and general housekeeping included. Previous retail experience (bookselling or otherwise) is a plus. Starting hours: Saturday 10-5; Sunday 12-4 (possible during the holiday season).
