How will this role have an impact?

The Analytic Technology group serves to increase the power and leverage of the Analytics Department by collaborating on technology products and practices. We aim to bring a full stack mentality and capability to bear on the problems we work on: From comprehending business questions, understanding claims, standing up databases, programming backends, or building frontends. We value listening deliberately and communicating clearly with the audience in mind. The summer intern's role will likely focus on creating and modifying quality assurance python scripts to support and maintain financial arrangements between Signify and our partners.

This role will report to the Junior Analytics Engineer.

What will you do?

• Work alongside engineers to help us refine our quality assurance scripts
• Create automation strategies and follow through to create and execute automated test scripts
• Actively contribute to a complex quality assurance code base
• Gain exposure to version control frameworks like git-bitbucket
• Regularly interact with technical leads in the analytics department

We are looking for someone with:

• Python programming experience, preferably with pandas and numpy
• Pursing degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (or recent graduate)
• Experience in software testing methodologies and testing techniques preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
