HBS positively impacts our customers sites with controls for HVAC ; security management systems, life safety and fire alarm systems, energy management; and building management systems. The HBS teams install, maintains and upgrades systems that enable our customers to become more competitive and energy efficient through improved building controls. Interns will work as part of a team working on controls projects in the engineering and delivery of projects. This will involve design, procurement and day to day project management controls together with some hands on technical and computing work. Use your enthusiasm and desire to do great work to support our customers to deliver projects and achieve financial metrics and engineering milestones.This position requires local travel to provide support to customer sites.This position is available at multiple locations across the US.YOU MUST HAVE:* Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering field* Ability to start in Summer 2020* Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to project/program requirementsWE VALUE:* Previous internship experience a plus* Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint* Some experience in engineering design, development, or field support of mechanical products is preferred. Engineering Design Tools such as AutoCad , Revits or equivalent is preferred.* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Able to convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing* Interest in project engineering/management - including technical execution, cost awareness and schedule adherence* Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations of internal and external customers* Ability to balance the demands and needs of internal and external stakeholdersWill you be attending the NBMBAA, SHPE or SWE annual conferences?
