Description

This Quintessential, early 19th Century New England Colonial, is one of the real gems of New Haven's historic downtown location with large private garden. This 1806 house was home to Samuel F.B. Morse, co-developer of Morse code, and two successive deans of Yale School of Fine Arts: John F. Wier and William S. Kendall, until it was moved in 1824 to Hillhouse Ave where it became Mrs. Apthorop Girl's School. The house remained there until 1838 when it was moved to 58 Trumbull St. In 1940 it became home to Dr. Seabury who converted it to a residence & 5 therapists' offices.

Major interior renovations to be completed in time for 2017/2018 Leasing year. Please inquire within for additional details, or to arrange a tour!
